SEMINAR CURRICULUM

The Pat Linton training program consists of a variety of modules which can be structured to meet the training needs of most institutions.

Seminar topics can be customized by including the modules most suited to the course objectives and the target training population. Create your own seminar from introductory to advanced levels.

Seminars can be from one to several days, on or off site, with or without homework or cases.

SEMINAR MATERIALS

A 300–page customized manual covering the selected modules is provided. Its highlights include:

A lecture note style that is detailed enough to allow for individual reading.

The focus of all the material is on being able to find the relevant information in the financial press and elsewhere and to construct innovative suggestions/solutions based on this information.

All exercises are either technical requiring participants to calculate solutions based on market information or relational requiring participants to think about the components of a problem.

The material traces the evolution of financial products and decision–making to stress the importance of anticipating change in the financial marketplace.

Participants will be required to bring a financial calculator (HP12C, HP17B, HP19B or equivalent).
